Transformation Journey
With more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, Tamer Baker has worked with a variety of organizations across industries to help them achieve their security and business goals through technology. As CTO at Zscaler, Tamer is responsible for assisting healthcare organizations, state and local governments, and educational institutions with their digital transformation efforts, modernizing their infrastructure to save money on operational costs, increasing productivity and security, all while reducing risk by leveraging a zero trust architecture.
Prior to Zscaler, Tamer spent almost a decade at Forescout, where he provided global customers with strategic direction and architected solutions to meet specific requirements for national defense, government, healthcare, finance/banking, and other industries.
Before moving to the private sector Tamer served in various roles within the public sector as well as an officer in the United States Air Force. Tamer has a B.S. in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, FL.
